Terms and Conditions

Registering an account and placing a bid on Boom X Auctions (“BXA”) indicates your understanding of and agreement with all Terms and Conditions on this page and throughout the BXA site. If you do not agree, do not bid.
Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. A winning bid is a legal contract between you and the Seller/BXA. By participating in any auction, you explicitly agree that you will not initiate a chargeback or payment dispute for your purchase.
All communications between bidders and the seller must be respectful. Any hostile, harassing, or abusive communication will not be tolerated and may result in suspension of your account. 

 

• ALL items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS.
  No refunds. No returns. All sales are final.
• Descriptions: We make every reasonable, good-faith effort to describe items accurately, but not every                  

   known or noted.
• Wear and age: Expect normal signs of wear consistent with antique, vintage, and used items.
• Functionality: We do not guarantee the working order of any clock, watch, electronic, electrical, or 

   mechanical device.
• Measurements: Dimensions provided may be approximate.

BXA auctions are designed to replicate a live auction with a rolling close.
• Extended bidding: Near the close of an item, additional time is added with each new bid to allow all bidders a fair chance to bid again.
• Tie bids: In the event of identical high bids, the first bid placed at that amount will be awarded the item.
• Proxy bidding: You may place a maximum (proxy) bid. The system will then bid automatically and incrementally on your behalf, up to your maximum.
A 18% Buyer’s Premium and applicable sales tax will be added to the final bid amount on your invoice.

Taxes waived if there is an active resellers permit on file.
BXA reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel listings or bids, or to suspend bidding privileges for any user who does not maintain valid payment information.
If your payment method fails or your account becomes past due, we may:
• Use collection agencies and/or legal counsel
• Assess late fees, interest, or other applicable fees
A separate shipping or delivery invoice may be created and must be paid before items are released. You expressly grant BXA the right to hold any winning item until confirmation of cleared funds has been received.
